Little hands, big hearts
For an afternoon, our children discovered the art of leather alongside their parents.
To offer their mother a gift sewn with their own hands. This year again, about ten of them learned the gestures of our artisans.
A workshop like no other
Every year, as Mother's Day approaches, SOARANTY opens its doors to parents and their children.
The idea is simple: to pass on, for a Saturday, the artisanal know-how and allow the youngest to discover the leather trades.
Leather keeps the trace of every hand that has worked it. This year, those are our children's hands.
Learning with your hands
Under the watchful eye of our artisans, each child learned to hold an awl, count their stitches, and assemble the leather with precision.
No shortcuts: leather does not forgive impatience, and that is perhaps the most beautiful lesson of this day.
A gift that cannot be bought
At the end of the day, each child left with their creation, still imperfect but filled with emotion.
More than an object, it is a memory, a story, and a gesture of love offered to their mother.
